So i’m looking back on my last relationship, to the time my ex boyfriend and I were at the zoo. And he and I were looking at what seemed like an empty display, searching for the an animal. Suddenly I looked up and above me were two sloths cuddling. I squeeled with joy and said “ahhh look sloths” and people looked and smiled at me and showed their kids the sloths that they didn’t see either, and my then, boyfriend grabbed me by the arm and dragged me away and said “you really just embarassed me back there. grow up.”

And for some reason I didn’t break up with him then and there…

God damnit I really hate running into people that I haven’t seen since high school

a.) because they’re always like “OMG girl I miss you so much lets hang soon, I’ll come visit you in Chicago” and that’s just a complete lie. You haven’t thought of me since graduation

b. They always say something like “OMG you look soooo good have you lost weight?” And then laugh and smile instead of saying “Actually yes I’ve lost like 30 lbs since high school because I’ve developed crippling depressing and an eating disorder.”
